Master Luthier in Brussels

Since 1987, Master Luthier in Brussels Thomas Meuwissen has been working exclusively on the production of high-quality modern and baroque violins, violas and cellos. Each instrument is built entirely by hand — from selecting the spruce and maple to applying the final coat of varnish.

Trained at the Newark School of Violin Making and perfected in the workshops of Prague and Montpellier, his work reconciles tradition and science, craft and art — resulting in instruments prized by soloists worldwide.
